Argentine Ants:

Also known as Small Brown Ants.

These ants originate from South America and can generally be found nesting in trees, paths, buildings and lawns. These ants often will walk up your arm if placed on the trail. This species can be very hard to get rid of because once they have been cleared from an area, they are quick to recolonise from untreated areas (neighbouring properties) and re-infest.

This re-infestation can happen within two weeks. These ants are tiny measuring 1.5-3.0mm long and are generally brown in color.
